Requirements & Policies
VACCINATIONS
All pets are required to be current on all vaccinations dictated by Comal County. Dogs are required to be current on Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella* vaccinations. All vaccinations must be current prior to their stay with us.
Drop Off and Pick Up Times
- 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM (Mon – Thurs)
- 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM (Mon – Thurs)
- 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM (Friday)
- 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM (Sunday)
Note: If your dog is picked up during morning hours no charge is incurred for that day. If they stay to eat breakfast and play with us there will be a $30 evening pickup fee added.
An additional Late Fee of $35 will be incurred for any pick ups or drop offs outside of our normal business hours.
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday pickups not available during holiday weekends because the office is closed.
*Bordetella Vaccine Requirement
To ensure the health and safety of all dogs in our care, we require that the Bordetella vaccine be administered at least 10 days prior to your pet’s drop-off date.
Why is this necessary?
- The Bordetella vaccine contains a live virus that helps build your dog’s immunity against kennel cough.
- During the 10-day period after vaccination, dogs may still shed the virus, posing a risk of spreading kennel cough to others.
What You Need to Do:
- Check your pet’s vaccination records well in advance of your boarding date.
- Schedule the vaccine early if your pet needs it, ensuring it’s administered at least 10 days before boarding.

RESERVATIONS
A 50% deposit is required at the time of reservation, which will be applied to your dog's stay. The balance is due at pick up.
Your deposit is refundable with a 30 day notice of cancellation.
A decrease in the number of days needed also requires a full 30 day notice for regular boarding or you will be charged for those days.
HOLIDAY RESERVATIONS
There is a 3 night stay minimum on holiday stays.
A 100% deposit is required for all holiday reservations.
A full 30-day notice is REQUIRED for cancellation of holiday reservations or no refund will be issued.
A decrease in the number of days needed also requires a full 30 days for holiday boarding or you will be charged for those days.
Holidays include, but are not limited to, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Spring Breaks, and all 3 day weekends.
